Litecoin (LTC) is the brainchild of former Google employee, Charlie Lee. Originally released back in 2011, LTC has many similarities to its bigger brother, BTC. However, LTC is faster to ‘mine’, meaning transactions are executed faster than with BTC and the supply market cap is four times greater.
